The Laredo Diploma Plus Foundation, est. in 2009, is a nonprofit organization and as such welcomes donations. We have no employees. Our effort is all with volunteers.The Foundation provides Senior-year scholarships to at-risk high school students. We are a dropout prevention operation. School Counselors recommend the students to us. We provide $800 for the year broken down into four $200 scholarships after passing grades and attendance are verified.  33.5% of the adult population in Webb County does not have a high school diploma!    We have been very successful seeing students graduate, about 70 students per year from local public schools.
