The STEM & Literacy Center of South Texas is a community-based nonprofit dedicated to expanding educational opportunities for youth through STEM enrichment, literacy development, health education, and community outreach programs.
Our organization provides hands-on STEM workshops, small-group reading labs, and educational programs that connect students with educators and community professionals. Through interactive learning experiences, students explore science, strengthen literacy skills, and gain exposure to real-world careers.
In addition to academic enrichment, our outreach initiatives—including the Duffles of Love program—support youth and families in need by providing essential items and encouraging community service and volunteer engagement.
By bringing together educators, professionals, volunteers, and community partners, the STEM & Literacy Center of South Texas works to create supportive learning environments that inspire curiosity, build confidence, and empower students to pursue education and future career pathways.
